Golf Outing Proceeds Tee Up College
Enrollment for Two Lucky Students
The Rosemont Chamber of Commerce board and Pamela Hogan, chamber executive director, are proud to announce the creation and establishment of a new fund Rosemont Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
“Chamber members should feel proud especially those who supported the annual golf outing -because in doing so, they helped create a valuable fund that will directly impact the lives of a few of our college-bound students,” said Pamela Hogan.
The new scholarship fund will award two college-bound, high school seniors $1,500 each, to be used for their college enrollment fees.
Only chamber members’ direct family members, or chamber members’ employees or employees’ direct family members will be eligible.
A special announcement package of information will be sent to chamber members only, after January 1, 2009, including eligibility requirements, instructions, applications and a bulletin which may be posted for your employees.
Congratulations on helping the Rosemont Chamber of Commerce make this valuable contribution. “Everybody in Rosemont is a hard worker,” commented Grant Bailey, assistant general manager, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. “Rosemont is an excellent example of a place where the whole community’s culture is hard-driving and hard-working. This scholarship is a great way to recognize Rosemont’s work ethic, and give back to our own members, too. We are very excited that we are going to be able to initiate this scholarship program.”
Following information distribution, applications will be accepted until March 31, 2009. Winners will be announced on this website on May 1, 2009.
